✔ UK authorised veterinary medicinal product

Active Ingredient: Each 3g sachet contains 666mg Fenbendazole.

Weigh your dog carefully (you can do this by weighing yourself, and repeating whilst holding your pet, on the bathroom scales.  The difference is the weight of the dog.)  and calculate the number of sachets needed.

Sprinkle the contents of the sachet(s) into your dog’s food and mix immediately before feeding.  Give less food than usual to make sure it’s all eaten.  Treat dogs separately and make sure only the dog to be treated has access to the food.

Puppies (over 12 weeks but under 6 months and weighing at least 6.6kg):

Give the recommended number of sachets EACH DAY for 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS.

  • 6.6-13.2kg (15-30lb) - 1 Sachet
  • 13.3-26.4kg (30.1-60lb) - 2 Sachets

Adult Dogs (over 24 weeks):

Treat every 3-6 months.  Weigh your dog as accurately as possible and then use the following number of sachets as a SINGLE dose:
  • 3.3-6.6kg (7.5-15lb) - 1 Sachet
  • 6.7-13.2kg (15.1-30lb) - 2 Sachets
  • 13.3-19.8kg (30.1-45lb) - 3 Sachets
  • 19.9-26.4kg (45.1-60lb) - 4 Sachets

Weigh your pet before treatment to accurately establish the correct dosage.

Use medicines responsibly;

Warnings: Not for the treatment of puppies weighing less than 6.6kg or for adult dogs weighing less than 3.3kg. For the treatment of sick or pregnant dogs or puppies under 12 weeks of age, consult your vet.

  • Does my dog have worms?

    Most dogs are born with worms, and they encounter new sources of infection every time they go for a walk, so the answer is probably "yes".  Symptoms of worms may include: a dull coat, a lack of energy, diarrhoea, vomiting, weight loss, abdominal swelling, pain, dragging their bottoms on the floor (itching), coughing, shortness of breath and even visible worms in their poo. However, many adult dogs have symptomless infections, so don't assume that your pet is worm-free if there are no obvious external signs. It is probable that they do have a low level of infection (as it is difficult to avoid), causing reinfection of themselves, other pets, and children.  Regular treatment is now low cost and easy to administer. Beaphar has a wide range of high quality, easy to administer treatments in a variety of dosing styles to suit every pet.
